1939 FORD 2 DOOR SEDAN STREET ROD - SOLD
GOOD LOOKING Ford 2 door
sedan street rod with only about 5,000 miles on a frame off
build, I have over $33,000. dollars of parts receipts. This
car drives exceptionally nice with the Mustang II front
suspension and a 9" Ford rear end mounted on parallel leaf
springs. The interior is beautiful and comfortable, the body
is very close to being ready for paint although it really
looks good in the black suede. The air conditioning blows
cold, in fact it was the car we chose to drive in 95 degree
heat on a 200 mile cruise the other day and had no problems
staying cool.
The engine was built by
Houston Engine and Balancing and was built to be a good
street engine with the following spec's:
The engine is a 350 4 bolt main
block bored .030 line honed balanced and blueprinted, the
crank is a forged 383 stroker crank, the rods are h-beam
6.00, the pistons are 5cc dish forged zero decked (makes for
9.5-1 compression), the cam is XE284 with a .510 lift, 1.6
roller lifters making a .540 lift, the heads are World
Products Sportsman II ported and polished, Air Gap intake,
MSD wires and ignition and 45TS spark plugs. They estimate
450 horsepower at the flywheel and it feels like it when it
goes through the gears on the 350 Turbo transmission which
uses a B&M shifter.
I would not be afraid to drive
this car anywhere with confidence. I would be more than
happy to pick you up at our airport or help arrange shipping
to your door. Please call me at 701-740-7340 or email me at
